Town

Around the player's Home where all the Creamates live, there is the Town. Here, you can build several buildings which make gameplay easier. You can also come across the characters from your room as they are walking around in town to visit some of the buildings.

To Access[edit | edit source]

The only means to access the Town is to tap on the Town-button on the upper left corner when you are at Home screen.

The Town's Layout[edit | edit source]

The layout of the Town looks like this: In the middle, there is a round plaza with all 5 facilities from your Home. Around this plaza, there are several empty spots where buildings can be built. For details, see below.

Apart from these empty spots, there is also a bulleting board located south from the central plaza. Tapping on this will make the list of all Missions pop-up.


Placing Buildings in Town[edit | edit source]

At first, there is nothing in town besides the central plaza and the bulletin board. You will notice several signboards around the central plaze. These indicate empty spots where buildings can be placed. Tap on a signboard and a list of all placable buildings will pop-up. There are two types of empty spots, large ones and small ones. A large empty spot is used to place Series buildings in town, a small empty spot is used to place other buildings (either a Class building or a Production building).

Series Buildings[edit | edit source]

A Series Building boosts the stats of all characters of the respective series when in battle.

You can place only 3 different Series Buildings from start, but you can unlock additional empty spots by proceeding in the main story:

  • the 4th large empty spot unlocks upon clearing Chapter 03,
  • the 5th large empty spot unlocks upon clearing Chapter 04,
  • and the 6th and last large empty spot unlocks upon clearing Chapter 08.


Once placed, a Series Building can't return to being an empty spot, but you can replace a Series Building with another Series building. So in case you don't want the boost of stats for characters of a certain series (for example, because you want to stun an enemy instead of defeating it), you can just replace the respective Series Building by a Series Building whose characters you don't include in your party.

After a Series Building is placed, you can tap on it. By doing so, a sub-menu consisting of the buildings name and 4 buttons pops up. From left to right, these buttons are used for

  • looking at the buildings information; these include not only the amount of boost in stats, but also a small description;
  • leveling up the building: Each level up increases the boost of stats, but please note that a level-up can't be undone;
  • replacing the building with another Series Building that's currently not placed in town. As described above, you might not want the boost of stats for certain characters, so this button can be used to get rid of the boost for certain series. On the opposite, you can use this to place the Series Building of a certain series to get the boost for that series;
  • changing positions with other Series Buildings in town; this function only serves an aestetic purpose: you can sort the Series Buildings in a preferred order or you can arrange them so they fit into their surroundings.

Other Buildings[edit | edit source]

There are two types of other buildings: Class Buildings and Production Buildings. A Class Building boosts the stats of all characters of the respective class when in battle, and a Production Building will produce Coins or Weapon Materials over the lapse of time.

To build these two types of buildings, a small empty spot is needed. Small empty spots become available only after placing a Series Buildings. You get 4 spots for each placed Series Building, making it 24 spots in total once you unlocked all empty spots.

Upon tapping on the signboard of a small empty spot, a sub-menu pops up with 4 buttons:

  • The first button is for building a new Production Building.
  • The second button is for building a new Class Building.
  • The third button is for opening the Warehouse, consisting of a list of all buildings you have previously put into the Warehouse. Here, there are two buttons for each building: The red button on the left is to sell the building from the Warehouse to gain some Coins, and the white button on the right is to take the selected building out of the Warehouse and place it onto the selected empty spot. By clicking on either of the two buttons, a prompt pops up to confirm the chosen action: The left button is for canceling, the right button is for confirming the action.
  • The forth button is to close this sub-menu. This button is a bit smaller than the other 3 buttons.

Note that there is an upper limit for each building in town: You can have up to 3 buildings of each Class Building in town, and you can have up to 5 buildings of each Production Building. The Warehouse is included. So when you can't build a certain building, it's because you have already hit the upper limit.


After a Class building or a Production Building is placed, you can tap on it. By doing so, a sub-menu consisting of the buildings name and 4 buttons pops up. From left to right, these buttons are used for

  • looking at the buildings information; these include not only the amount of boost in stats (in case of a Class Buildings) or the frequency items are produced (in case of a Production Building), but also a small description;
  • leveling up the building: Each level up increases the building's effect. Please note that a level-up can't be undone, you can sell a building though from the Warehouse to build a new building which starts at level 1;
  • putting the building into the Warehouse; by doing so, the spot returns to being an empty spot, so new buildings can be built;
  • changing positions with other Class Buildings or Production Buildings in town; this function only serves an aestetic purpose: you can sort the Series Buildings in a preferred order or you can arrange them so they fit into their surroundings.

Notes:

  • If you have unlocked all empty spots, only one Class Building or Production Building can't be placed. So you just need to choose which of the 7 buildings you don't need as much as the other 6, and put it into the Warehouse.
  • You can expand the Warehouse in Kanna's Architecture Shop: Pay 2 Starlight Stones to gain 10 slots of Warehouse. This is not recommended though, as eventually one slot suffices as just stated.
  • Selling buildings from the Warehouse is not recommended as well, as building them costs more than you gain from selling them.


Characters in Town[edit | edit source]

All Creamates have their own daily schedule. So some characters wake up at 6, while some others may sleep until 8. According to these schedules, each character may run some errands in town, and the player can "see" them doing so. The player won't see them doing actual stuff, but only a small icon that pops up in town. This icon can pop up in the following buildings:

  • any of the 6 Series Buildings,
  • any of the Class Buildings,
  • any of the Production Buildings,
  • the Shopping District.

Please note that nothing special happens even if a character runs some errand at the Series Building of the own series. Also note that if you have placed more than one Coin Production Building, all Creamates running an errand at a Coin Production Building will go to the exact same Coin Production Building. The same goes for all Class Buildings and Weapon Buildings.


Now, the icon's frame can have one of three different colors, and depending on the color of this frame, different things happen:

  • Most icons have an orange frame at first. By tapping on these, the player will gain 150 Kirara Points, 1 Stamina and 10 Bond Points for the character whose icon was tapped. The frame turns white afterwards.
  • Each new icon has a small chance to have a rainbow colored frame. Tapping on such a frame will make the character art pop up with one out of a few special voiced lines, and the player will gain 500 Kirara Points, 2 Stamina and 50 Bond Points for the character whose icon was tapped. This frame also turns white afterwards.
  • After an icon was tapped, its frame turns white. Tapping on these frames doesn't bring any rewards, but the character will say some random line. Some players use these lines from characters who are running errands at the same building to draw short mangas.

The schedule is set at 4 AM JST (UTC+9), but can be changed by changing the inhabitants of the Room. For details, see below.


Other things in town[edit | edit source]

Besides the things you can tap in town, there are a few more things you can do when on town screen:

  • You can zoom in and zoom out by sliding two fingers towards each other or move them apart from each other.
  • You can return to Home Screen by tapping on the button on the upper left corner.
  • You can see a list of all boosts from the buildings in town by tapping on the button with the green treehouse (it's supposed to be the Room) in the lower right corner.
  • You can open the list of inhabitants with their schedules by tapping on the button with the blue person on the lower right corner. Here, you can check on everyone's schedule (which may be fun at times). You can also tap on any of the character's icons to the left to change them for other inhabitants, which will result in different schedules.
  • You can make the level for all buildings in town display and disappear by tapping on the third button (the small button) in the lower right corner. If the button is blue, all levels are displayed, if it's white, the levels aren't displayed.


Notes regarding the schedule:

  • Each entry on the schedule that's not grey means one new icon in town, even if the character doesn't change the location in-between.
  • You can't choose different versions of the same character to be inhabitants of the Room at the same time.
  • But changing an inhabitant to another version of the same character works. Also, this is enough to change the schedule.
  • Changing a character back (which can't be done immediately but only after an hour of waiting) doesn't result in the old schedule, but in a new one. So some people change the inhabitants to get a schedule with lots of different errands (the maximum amount of errands seems to be 6 per day).
  • If you want to increase the number of errands of a character (for example to gain lots of Bond Points) of whom you only have one version, you can try to do so every two hours (take the character out of the room, and put it back one hour later).
  • A new schedule can always have new errands, unless it's past 11 PM JST (UTC +9), regardless of the number of frames up to that time.

In detail, you can see:

  • Weapon Production Buildings which have hit the maximum amount of storable items, labeled with "MAX",
  • Weapon Production Buildings which have some items but not yet hit the maximum amount of storable items, the "4" from the label displays the number of stored items,
  • one Coin Production Building which has hit the maximum amount of storable Coins, labeled with "MAX" (see bottom left),
  • Coin Production Buildings which have some Coins but not yet hit the maximum amount of storable Coins,
  • icons of characters in town with a white frame (e.g. Sugar at the Shopping District),
  • icons of characters in town with an orange frame (e.g. Yun at the Shopping District),
  • one icon of a character in town with a rainbow colored frame (Kanata at the Mage Building to the right),
  • the bulletin board at the bottom of the screen (great parts are cut-off by the edge of the screen though),
  • the two icens of the town menu to check on all boosts or everyone's schedules.
